About Our District Harlem School District 122 serves the communities of Loves Park, Machesney Park, and southern Roscoe. We are a growing community ready to serve the growing needs of Harlem residents. Our school district is located in northern Illinois, ninety miles northwest of Chicago, and just north of Rockford.
